The challenge
Salamanca wanted a risk management solution that could help their internal experts assess risks worldwide and provide an overall platform to streamline the workflow and have appropriate reporting capabilities. Integration with third-party mapping software was also specified by the client.
The solution
Geeks created an adaptable platform so the client could manage inquiries, search countries and areas for risk status, integrate with the MapBox application, and provide reporting features. Data is exportable to Excel and PDF.
The solution is able to be continually updated from both internal and external sources, and provides different ways of managing the data, including heat map views and warning notifications. This Risk Management software was exactly what the client wanted. Mapping integration, while not technically challenging, can be difficult to optimise. However Geeks fully achieved this for the client.
The process of managing risks in global hotspots has now been facilitated and streamlined by the software that Geeks designed. This back office efficiency improvement provides budgetary savings for the client, together with an improved overview of changing situations worldwide.
